The Plume of
Feathers annual duck race will be held on the 12th of
July. The
duck race is held to raise money for local charities, which also
gives us a good excuse to have a great day out for young and old
alike. The
duck race has been held for many years and is always a great day
out, (just ask anyone that’s been before) The
event will start around 6pm with the duck race to begin , so
make sure you have bought some ducks to be in with a chance to
win some of the great prizes donated by local businesses. This
is part of the event that is for the younger ones, (but adults
can play to!) The
band this year is, DEEP RIVER BLUES who normally start around
8pm and play on till late.
There are 3 bars, pig roast bbq face painting and ice cream
stall. And of course, plenty of local ales and ciders. We hope to see you there to take part in the fun that we have been enjoying for many years.
